Honour's project. lost in an alien jungle

I've been trying to depict an lush alien jungle for a while now. I haven't quite conveyed it as well in this drawing but I feel I'm heading int he right direction.

Honnour's Project. More designs

 Last week I mostly spent working on more character designs for the protagonist's brother and diver suit designs. For the diver suit designs, I'm aiming to create a stylistic design which attains it's practical design. So far I experiment with different shapes for helmets and the body.

Last week I also spent creating silhouettes for boats. The boat will be seen from different angles in the storyboards, which is why I aimed for stylistic shapes.

For my honour's project I've decided to create a final animated short. The story I have so far is a diver who descends to the bottom of the ocean to this valley to discover a portal which leads to another dimension. Typing that out I kinda realise that MAAAAYBE I was a bit inspired by pacific rim. Oh well!
